Tony kills Christopher? Damn it, Keep the Sopranos separate from Star Trek!!

Bogus! Well…O.K., Christopher needed to be whacked I guess on general principle.

My thing, is that this looked way too much like a dream sequence. If this was a dream sequence or “alternate” universe episode, I’m too through with the Sopranos.

Damn it, leave my sci fi and mafia flicks SEPARATE. What, is Tony going to wake up and do a Captain Picard and yell “Damn it Q, you have had your laugh, put me back at the Bada Bing”?

Yesh. Well, I hope the writers aren't trying to pull that. Anyway, when is Tony going to whack Phil? Phil has got to go! Lil Carmine too. And Paulie? I'm just saying Tone...

I am addicted to…the “L-word”

Yes, yes…it is true. I rented the previous seasons from blockbuster, and my wife and I blew a whole weekend vegetating and watching the show. This says a lot for the quality of the show. My wife and I have similar television taste, and generally watch very few shows. Law and Order: CI, old Columbo re-runs, Monk (WITH SHARONA!!), Malcolm in the Middle, Will and Grace re-runs and that’s about it (I admit, some mornings at 5am I’m up watching Walker Texas Ranger, JAG or Star Trek Deep Space Nine, but don’t tell my wife lol).

Soooooo, while I was working on my proposal for my film project (which took more hours than my theological thesis) she watched a few episodes on demand to pass some time after the kids were sleep, she turned me on to the show, and we now at least catch the current episode on demand at some point during our busy week. I thought it would just be sex, sex, sex (sorta how Queer as Folks was), but to my surprise, there are compelling stories between all the sex, sex, sex (and I will admit, I can watch these ladies a lot easier than the guys on Queer as Folks, honestly, I am surprised women find us men attractive, yuck!! Lol).

I find it interesting, relationships between men and women aren’t much different than between women and women. Sure, my wife and I don’t fight over using the same shampoo or conditioner, but a lot of the issues seem to be the same as heterosexual couples on the show. This I also found in Queer as Folks, but not explored to the same degree.

Anyway, just my view of the show. Have a nice weekend everyone!

Am I the only one who can’t watch Monk without Sharona?

Well my wife can’t either, anyone else (like in church: “Is there one? Is there one?” lol

Seriously, I enjoyed the series a lot initially, one of the few shows that I could actually enjoy and not feel intellectually insulted by watching. Then BAM…no Sharona (typical contractual disagreement I heard).

Anyway, if they had gotten a better replacement and stayed on track with Monk’s main character, I could have handled it, but they got him out of character with some silly stories and his new assistant makes me want to puke.

Is it just me?

Get a damn life Parents Television Council!! Leave NBC and SNL alone….

O.K. people, here it is remember that funny as hell video with Justin Timberlake mocking “certain” types of dumb a** R&B singers (Kels) on Saturday Night Live with the “D*** in a Box” skit? Well the sexually repressed conservative probably closeted S&M Parents Television Council has now come down on NBC for having the unedited version on You Tube and the SNL website. This is why conservatives lost the congress and will lose the White House. Democrats don’t even have to campaign, just let them continue majoring in minors.

My thing is this; I can see it not being on t.v. unedited, but the internet? I am certain there are worse things a kid is going to try find on the internet than Justin Timberlake mocking stupid R&B singers.

And if you want to add SNL to your internet blocked list, then do so, but leave mainstream society alone with your false purity and prudishness.
