Barack tells Blago: “Resign”

"President-elect Barack Obama is calling for Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich to resign. The president-elect agrees with other prominent politicians that "under the current circumstances, it is difficult for the governor to effectively do his job and serve the people of Illinois," Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs said."

Will Blago catch a clue and resign? This guy tried to shake down the Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, that alone is worth the wraith of the people of Illinois, he tried to shake down the Tribune Co. and get Tribune writers and editorial staff that were exposing him fired, etc., etc., this guy has got to go. ABC says: Jesse Jackson Jr. is 'Candidate 5' in IL Gov. Blagojevich investigation...

ABC News has a law enforcement source telling them that Jesse Jackson, Jr. is "Senate Candidate Five," the one who was -- according to Blagojevich -- willing to supply campaign cash in exchange for the Senate seat.

My Comment: While this isn’t necessarily criminal, it exemplifies the quid pro quo garbage that goes on in Illinois and Cook County politics, I’m sure it goes on everywhere, its just that these guys seem to have made it an art.

ABC reports that Jackson Jr. said "I don't know" when asked if he was Candidate #5, but said he was told "I am not a target of this investigation." Jackson Jr. said he agreed to talk with federal investigators "as quickly as possible" after he consults with a lawyer.

My Comment: Pathetic. First off, I think Junior was a bad choice for the US Senate seat in any case, but this just shows how much of a bad choice he is. Just saying…

Dear Mr. Fitzgerald,

Since it seems like your colleague, David E. Nahmias, United States Attorney Northern District of Georgia is getting more press than you (undeservedly so in my opinion) as he is prosecuting T.I. on weapons charges (why he hasn’t brought charges against T.I. for his sorry arse production skills is still a mystery to me), I suggest you bring charges against JAY Z!

He always seems to brag about how he “came up” selling drugs in his songs, since he recently performed these types of songs at a concert at the House of Blues in Chicago, can’t you have the US Marshalls, DEA, ATF or the FBI Arrest him? Besides should calling yourself “Jigga” be enough to arrest someone? At least can some rabbinical court press charges against him for having the audacity to call him self H.O.V.A.?

I’m just saying, get back in the game and arrest “Jigga”!

Dear Mr. Fitzgerald,

First let me say how big a fan I am of your work! I thought Conrad Black was gonna walk for sure, and heck I didn’t think anyone could get Scooter Libby in court, let alone a conviction, man you are my hero! Anyway, I’ll skip further pleasantries and get to the purpose of my letter. R. KELLY!!!

O.K., we will look over the fact that he should have been brought up on federal charges for the “In the Closet” series (didn’t he break some RICO laws or something with that? Dominating the air waves by making one song last 12 months?), but lets talk about this “Child Pornography” charge. I know he is innocent till proven guilty, but it appears that with the Crook Cook County States Attorney taking his sweet time to prosecute this case, guilt just ain’t gonna get proven if he is in fact guilty. If you would prosecute the case in Federal court (maybe for him taking the child porn across state lines) it would be better for R. Kelly (henceforth referred to as “Kels”) and the victim. We know you would have a “speedy” trial, and if he is in fact not guilty (as most Black women in Chicago keep insisting for some odd reason), it would be over and Kels could immediately get in production with “Out of the Courtroom” 1-12, and fun could be had by all!! B.uffoon E.ntertainment T.elevision could do a reality show on the trial AND the after party!

I know you are familiar with Crook Cook County and its “way” of doing things, I just fear that Kels gave one of Todd Stroger’s some importaant person's family members a job carrying music equipment to the studio making six figures which might influence the outcome of this trial, maybe you could get two birds with one stone (wink, wink)!!
