So, it seems like a majority of the people of Chicago have common sense and picked the person most suited to be mayor of the great city of Chicago...can't wait to see how Rahm handles the Chicago City Council! Just saying....

With the deaths of four American hostages at the hands of pirates, not to mention the ransoms that have been paid and the other criminal activity in the Gulf of Aden, something needs to be done. The British Royal Navy eliminated piracy back in the day, can the Navy's of the NATO countries at least handle that? Just saying...

I hope the people of Chicago haven't fallen for the stupid attack ads of Chico, fact is I would be more impressed if Chico just said what HE was about instead of wasting time talking about where Rahm grew up, which is just inane. Carol Mosely Braun has just shown herself to be a narcissist lacking in tact or class. Doc Walls, just doesn't have the political savey or experience to handle the Chicago City Council. Watkins, what exactly is she about anyway? Seriously, RAHM EMANUAL is the ONLY CHOICE for CHICAGO. A TRUE END to the DALEY MACHINE. GO RAHM!!!

OK, Hopefully the African American community has come to the collective realization that we don't need a "Black" mayor for Chicago, unless he or she happens to be the "Best" mayor for Chicago we can get! So far, that would be RAHM EMMANUEL. Just Saying...

I respect former Senator Braun, but she is just making the normal three ring circus that the Cook County Democrats have going even more of a spectacle for the media. Even if Patricia Van Pelt Watkins was a former drug user, how about some class? I see why Rahm doesn't go to you alls silly town hall meetings...just saying....

So, Danny Davis thinks him pulling out of the race is good to establish a good / strong "Black Candidate"? This underlines the problem in Chicago politics and how the Democratic party in Chicago takes Blacks for granted.

Blacks are assumed to vote Democrat in Illinois, especially Cook County, double especially in Chicago. And of course supposidly have to support the "Black" candidate (even at their own distress and against their best interest, i.e. Todd Stroger). So I guess we are supposed to get in line and vote for Carol Mosley Braun because these self serving Black Chicago Democrats so say? I hope not.

Fact is, that Rahm Emmanuel is the best choice for mayor of Chicago. He has the political skill and guts to what needs to be done, and he knows it is politically expediedient to look out for the whole constituency of Chicago.

I am glad Meeks dropped out, he won't be missed in this. I just hope Blacks don't fall for the okey doke and vote for Braun, Carol is a good candidate, but she is not strong enough for the job.

Christians being targeted in Iraq by Muslim Extremist...OK Liberal media and Moderate Muslims, can I here something from you?

So now that we have drawn down in Iraq, Christians are being targeted by Al Qaida and Al Qaida supporters. I have not heard the calls of condemnation I normally hear from the left whenever Muslims deal with discrimination in our country, nor am I hearing condemnation from those who are Islamic but moderate? I often see Christians here in the states coming to the defense of Islam and Muslims when their ideas are under attack, how about some reciprocation from them when CHRISTIAN PEOPLE are under attack? Back! It`s election time!

So, as I said a few months back (or actually I said this right after President Obama was elected) the Democrats are poised to lose the congress. I had predicted they would undermine themselves as they did after Bill Clinton got into office, and they have. MAIN reason I can never be a Dem. is they have nno back bone to do what they say and own up to it. THESE morons allowed the GOP to define their healthcare reform with fear and ignorance. BOTTOM LINE the Dems did not sell well, and further, now they want to distance themselves from what I believe history will show is the beginning of a real and practical healthcare change in the US.

Bishop Eddie Long, God will forgive you, but people...not so much...

Of course we should pray for the man, but just as with other preachers who have MINISTRIES built around the how to deal with homosexuality and then get caught as homosexual themselves, we gotta start saying TO LEADERSHIP, if you have a problem you are hiding, DON'T BUILD A MINISTRY on that problem, you just take down more people than yourself when you are eventually exposed.

I pray for Bishop Long, and I pray that people can seperate him from the message of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.
