So Chris Matthews said about President Obama: "He is post-racial, by all appearances," the liberal host said on the
air. "I forgot he was black tonight for an hour. You know, he's gone a
long way to become a leader of this country, and past so much history,
in just a year or two. I mean, it's something we don't even think
about."
Now before any of my left leaning friends try to defend Matthews' "slip of the tongue" or "poor wording", save your breath, I know what he MAY have meant to say, and what he MAY have been trying to communicate, HOWEVER, I know what he DID say and DID communicate.
I think he meant what he said, he just didn't quite understand how that type of thinking is a form of latent and socialized falling into the false dichotomy of "white superiority" and "black inferiority" that has been embedded in the collective psyche of our nation. "I guess we's black folk got's to hopes people fogets we's black..."...I'm Just Saying...
I'd like to ask Chris Matthews whether forgetting that Obama was black resulted in more or less of "a thrill going up [his] leg."

No defense of Matthews here. He's routinely an idiot.

I agree with the others. Even though I don't think that he meant any harm, his comments just show how far away from reality he is. He talks a good game on his show, but this comment just shows that he just like every other white person in America believes all the bullshit that the MSM puts out. From what I understood from this is that a Black man cannot be articulate, well spoken or just plain educated. So I guess we are the exceptions to this rule huh, DJ?
