...so when someone within the GOP / Conservative community finally calls out Rush on his demagoguery, he has to kowtow immediately. Sad really.
When will the Right catch a clue on this? Limbaugh and his ilk are why the GOP lost the congress and the White House, and they STILL rally behind this guy? I just don't get it.
I used to listed to Rush everyday about 4 years ago (I called it recon), anyway, while I can agree with some of his points of view, my perception of him is the same as that of Pat Buchanan and to a lesser extent Sean Hannity and even Newt Gingrich; that is, I view them as closeted racist with neo Nazi tattoos under their skin. Could I be wrong? Sure, I admit that I could be, but I'd have to see some serious information to the contrary. Jus' saying...
That gasbag just about ruined my day earlier this week just by being on the telly when I was at Dunkin' Donuts. :P Him and his nonexistent "welfare queens". And that army of redneck thugs, godmongers, and Wall Street pirates cheering at his every word...
So what's this about Michael Steele? Where can I read about it?

I listen to Rush when I'm traveling at his appointed time on the radio, about 1-2 times a month. Most times, I only listen to about 30 minutes of him, then I turn it to seomething else. He's a pompous a$$ who thinks only of himself.
So why do the Dems put so much emphasis on what Rush thinks? Why would Steele even care what Rush thinks? Just ignore him and he will go away.

He's been going strong for more than 20 years. As long as he's got that legion of wingnut dittoheads letting him tell them how to think, he and the rest of the right-wing talking heads aren't going anywhere. So I think it's important for people who actually use their brains to call him out on his idiocy.

@Randy:
You wrote: "Why would Steele even care what Rush thinks?"
Because alot of Republicans seem to care, which is a main reason I could never be one.
"Just ignore him and he will go away."
Oh how I wish...

after Steele watched an elected official worship at the altar of Limbaugh, he should have taken that as a warning.
