Over the weekend my co-producer and I were down at the House of Blues Chicago filming some interviews for my upcoming documentary, after we got about 30 minutes of interview footage I met up with Tafari from Bygbaby’s Mindspill blog, we went to the Rock and Roll McDonalds (where I ultimately ended up paying $21.00 for a Quarter Pounder with Cheese meal since they didn’t have validating for the parking), but we had a great conversation.
In fact, Tafari is the first person from my blog roll that I have met in person! We couldn’t hang out long since I had been out all day with business, but it was a delight to meet Tafari, when I get up to Detroit to interview Derrick May (By the way Tafari, got any hook ups so I don't have to go threw the same drama I am having with local Chicago "celebrities" to interview Derick May? Theres a Six Piece with mild Sauce from Harold's in it for ya!)we will hang out again! Next time he and his family are in Chicago we’ll all have to go the Harold’s Chicken over on 87th and the Dan Ryan!
Dang you beat me to the post!!! yes, that was an expensive burger & it was not even Kobe beef. LOL!!!
I may have the hook up on Derrick, let me know & I will see what I can pull.
Don't laugh but we did stop for some Popeye's before we hit 94. Harold's next time for sure & I am dying to try that damn sauce....

I'm assuming that y'all went to Rock & Roll Mickey D's after 10 p.m. They don't validate past 9:59 p.m. Sorry! My family learned that the hard way a couple months back. LOL!
And yeah, Harold's #55 is the bizness, joe! It's the only one that makes fresh chicken in the whole daggone city!

So glad you two got to meet up. Both of you are fab!
I haven't been to that McDonald's in probably 15 years. I remember parking on the street a few blocks away and walking. $21 is steep!
