Yet another reason that I should be the sovereign of Liberia, Operation “Tree Remover”! Taking a cue from my Israeli friends (Operation Moses and Operation Solomon), which removed Jewish Ethiopians from a hostile Ethiopia, so would I do for African Americans in less than “hospitable” places in the US (as well as less than “hospitable” places in the Caribbean, Central and South America). Hear me out people.
From what I gather, there are roughly 355 African Americans in that town, so instead of African Americans from all over the US heading to the obviously very racist Jena, Louisiana; how about we just move our brothers and sisters elsewhere in the country at least?
Don’t get me wrong folks, I am not for running from your problems, and I know we have a right to live where we want, but why want to live around a bunch of backward racist who are living in an 1855 mentality? Which gets to my point.
I need volunteers people, former Military (officers and enlisted), Civil Engineers, doctors, nurses, builders / developers, lawyers, etc. It’s time we go over to Liberia and make things right. Not only better the infrastructure of the nation for the good of the people already there, but to make a homeland for people of the African Diaspora to be a safe haven, when stuff like "Jena 6" happens, we just Airlift our people out!
Sure, because of the future estimated population increase (there are 34.9 million potential new citizens from the US alone) we might have to later invade Sierra Leone, Guinea and Côte d'Ivoire for more space after about 10 years (after our infrastructure is significantly improved and our military properly trained), but hey, somebody needs to put a stop to that blood diamond economy, might as well be me!
There are many open positions in my administration. So far, we have a Secretary of Defense / Security (Gunfighter) and a Secretary of Human Services (African American Dad), and a Secretary of the Humanities and Culture (Verb), but we still need a great diplomat for Secretary of State, as well we need cabinet members in the areas of Education, Housing, Interior, Health and Law! And you economist out there, don’t be shy, we need you too!
Shoot me your resumes’ people, the government of the Republic of Liberia (under the leadership of DJ Black Adam) is an Equal Opportunity Employer!
